Terms & Conditions

CBC Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: March 25, 2025

1.Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of behavioral consultation services by Rebecca Harper/Compassionate Behavior Consulting, LLC (“Consultant”) to the client (“Client”) and apply to all consultations, services, and advice provided by the Consultant.

By booking or attending a consultation, the Client agrees to these terms.

2. Services Provided

The Consultant offers behavioral consultation services, which may include:

  • General assessment of behavioral issues

  • Recommendations for behavioral strategies

  • Ongoing support or follow-up consultations

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information to assist the Consultant in understanding the behavioral challenges.

  • Follow the agreed-upon recommendations or strategies and inform the Consultant of progress or difficulties.

  • Attend scheduled consultations or notify the Consultant in advance if rescheduling is needed.

4. Consultation Fees and Payment

  • Fees for consultations will be as outlined at the time of booking.

  • Payments must be made in full prior to the time of the consultation via the online booking link.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit or debit card, PayPal, and Google Pay.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • To ensure that all clients receive timely and professional services, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of virtual consultations.

  • If the consultation needs to be canceled or rescheduled, the Consultant must be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.

  • If the consultation is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the booked appointment, or the Client does not attend the scheduled consultation, a non-refundable late cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the booked service will be charged.

  • In the event of the Consultant needing to cancel or reschedule, the Client will be notified as soon as possible, and a new appointment will be offered. If the Client is unable to attend the new appointment, the Client will be fully refunded.

  • If an exceptional circumstance arises, the Client may contact the Consultant, and an accommodation may be made to cancel or reschedule.

By booking a consultation, the Client agrees to adhere to this cancellation policy.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared during consultations is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the Client’s written consent, except as required by law or if there is concern for the safety or well-being of the Client or others.

7. No Guarantees

While the Consultant will make every effort to provide effective strategies and recommendations, no guarantees can be made regarding specific outcomes.

Behavioral changes take time and require consistent effort from both the Client and, if applicable, their family or caregivers.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Consultant is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or implementation of the behavioral strategies or advice provided.

The Client agrees to seek medical or therapeutic intervention from a licensed professional if required.

9. Termination of Services

The Consultant reserves the right to discontinue services if, in the Consultant’s professional judgment, the services are no longer effective or necessary, or if the Client fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

The Client may terminate the consultation services at any time, provided any outstanding fees are settled.

10. Dispute Resolution

Both parties agree to cooperate in an effort to resolve any dispute. If the dispute cannot be informally resolved, any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be resolved first by non-binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Both parties will be responsible for their own costs of arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

11. Modifications

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of any significant changes. The continued use of services after such updates will constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
